Solar Punk Project
As part of the project week for Blaue Nacht at the Haus zur Wildnis in the Bavarian Forest, this interactive installation aimed to explore the relationship between nature and technology. The goal was to make the forest experienceable in new and innovative ways by integrating modern technology, bringing creative storytelling to life.
/// My concept focused on visualizing a sustainable future—how modern city life can coexist with nature. Inspired by the Solar Punk aesthetic, I created AI-generated images depicting futuristic, nature-integrated urban environments. These visuals were supported by data and real-world case studies from places like Singapore. Additionally, I developed an interactive installation, where visitors could engage with AI-powered Photoshop tools to restore images of destroyed forests, making AI technology tangible for those unfamiliar with it.
/// Throughout the project, I experimented with AI-generated visuals using Midjourney to craft a compelling Solar Punk aesthetic. I curated informational materials combining statistical data and real-world examples of sustainable urban living. The installation setup involved a projection system to display AI-generated images and an interactive workstation for live Photoshop demonstrations. Multiple testing phases ensured the visuals and interactive elements worked seamlessly, providing an engaging experience for visitors.
/// Development optimizes the website's performance by optimizing code, reducing file sizes, and improving loading times. A fast-loading website enhances user experience, reduces bounce rates, and improves search engine rankings
/// I projected the Solar Punk AI-generated images onto the walls of the exhibition space, while an interactive workstation allowed me to personally engage with visitors. I explained the Solar Punk concept, demonstrated image generation techniques, and guided them through the process of creating their own AI-enhanced visuals, making the experience both educational and immersive.
